Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position requires a deep understanding of anaesthesia practices, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anaesthesia, monitoring patients during surgery, and providing post-operative care.

Responsibilities

Administer anaesthesia to patients prior to, during, and after surgical procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anaesthetic levels as necessary to ensure optimal safety and comfort. Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories and determine appropriate anaesthetic plans. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless surgical procedures. Provide guidance on pain management strategies for patients post-surgery. Participate in clinical research to advance anaesthesia practices and improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate records of anaesthesia administration and patient responses. Stay informed about advancements in anaesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

Experience

A medical degree with a specialisation in Anaesthesiology is required. Previous experience in a clinical setting is essential; experience in ICU, hospice care, or senior care environments is advantageous. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and public health principles is preferred. Demonstrated ability in medication administration and patient care within various healthcare settings including nursing homes or home care environments. Experience in clinical research related to anaesthesia or pain management is a plus.
