Job Description

The community paediatric Medical team consists of total 4 Consultant Paediatricians. In addition, the service is supported by 2 full time specialty trainees (level 2&3). In addition to the lead roles of named doctor, the type of Neurodisability clinics will be allocated to suit the competencies and interests of the post holder whilst meeting the needs of the service. There is no out-of-hours on-call commitment with this post.

The post holder will contribute to the daytime weekly child protection rota. This would include assessment of children referred for suspected child abuse and supervision of trainees/colleagues.
