Home based with regional travel

Our client is a consultancy business that supports, advises and guides a variety of social care providers. They are looking for a dedicated, committed and experienced care professional who has very high standards of probity.

You must be able to work with the rest of the consultancy team and also work well with providers, registered managers and external agencies to ensure high quality care and positive outcomes for residents and service users. You will also work with the owners and providers as required to ensure the operation is effective, well-run and achieves necessary financial goals.

A key part of your role will be visiting clients to conduct compliance visits (2 - 3 days), and then write a comprehensive report. It is essential that your written English is of a high standard.

You must have a very clear understanding of effective risk management and the role that plays in operating well-run care services. You must be able to provide operational and compliance advice to clients around the design, delivery and on-going management of their business in discussion with the Managing Director of the consultancy service.

When not undertaking travelling, you will work from home completing a variety of tasks including: * Participate in management meetings with clients, and take notes of these meetings.
  • Conduct supervisions for Registered Managers.
  • Via information received from clients, you must be able to ask probing questions as to how their care service is operating and then make viable suggestions to help improve the service.
  • Drafting responses to complaints and safeguarding investigations.
  • Draft and deliver training presentations.
  • Assist with writing policies and procedures,
Meetings with clients will take place over Zoom.

You will also participate in weekly team meetings with your colleagues, that normally take place via video call on a Friday morning.

What we are looking for:
  • At least 10 years\' experience working in healthcare or social care at a senior level.
  • Clear understanding of how to analyse data from care businesses and make improvements to services.
  • Definitive grasp of risk management and how it affects care services.
  • High standards of written English.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • High levels of probity.
In return - we offer:

Salary: \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa366,000 per annum

Performance related bonus up to 30% of salary

5 weeks annual leave.
