Job Description

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. This post is offered from March 2026 within the ED of Birmingham Children's Hospital. The post comprises 10 programmed activities with a commitment to 1:6 weekends on duty for the ED.



You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team of 10 Consultants, 6 Specialty Doctors/Senior Clinical Fellows, 4 senior Specialist Trainees (from Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics), 9 ST2/3s, 2 GPVTS trainees and 2 Teaching Fellows. We are also proud of our ongoing development of Advanced Nursing Practice within the ED. As a university teaching hospital, we provide excellent opportunities for education, and there is an active research programme within our department.
