An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ophthalmologist within the Adnexal Service at Moorfields sites at Croydon and St George's Hospitals. This post offers 6 programmed activities to provide direct clinical care within the Adnexal service and 2.5 SPAs.
A proposed timetable is attached to this advert, subject to change and possible increase of clinical sessions in the near future, and will be incorporated into the successful applicant's contract.
The timetable/programme may change with time depending on the specialist expertise of the post holder, the needs of the hospital and the service demands.
Supervision and teaching of junior staff will be required as well as administrative responsibilities of the ST teaching and training.
The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC specialist registration and hold a licence to practice. They will need to have experience in the management of oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal conditions. The post holder must have completed at least 12 months of a post CCT Ocular-Plastics fellowship.
