CONSULTANT IN OLDER PEOPLES SERVICE

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for 2Consultant Psychiatrists to join the Ward 19 team based at Priestley Unit, Dewsbury & District Hospital, Dewsbury, WF13 4HS. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the team. These roles have become available due to impending retirement of our longstanding excellent consultants who have provided high quality care to our service users and carers. This is an exciting time to be joining the service and the Trust as you can influence the development of dementia centre of excellence on the wards (male and female wards) along with other supportive senior leaders.
The starting salary for this post is aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (119,490 -145,478), in line with Trust policy for newly appointed consultants. Placement on the scale will be reviewed where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.
