The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Clinical Lead.



We have an excellent full-time opportunity if you are interested, you will be working across Cambian Specialist Mental Health Residential Services as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead. In this role, you'll combine clinical expertise with sound strategic acumen and inspiring leadership to develop and oversee the delivery of the very best care across this growing service. This will also involve the provision of remote governance and psychiatric oversight of our satellite homes within the Specialist Mental Health Services division.

You will contribute to, and influence the development of our therapeutic framework (STEP/Sensory & Supportive, Totally inclusive, Enabling, Progressive), including our trauma informed & trauma responsive Clinical Model.



Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and leadership skills.

Requirements



MRCPsych

Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent

Full General Medical Council registration

Be on the Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Approved Clinician status (Section 12, Mental Health Act)

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in busy environment

Able to evidence good multi-disciplinary team working while working as the only psychiatric practitioner on site

Driving License and/or the ability to travel between sites
