We're expanding our clinical team and looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead on diagnosis, treatment, and management of adult and child ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and broader mental health presentations.

Role Summary
As a Consultant Psychiatrist at My Solutions Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services across adult ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and general mental health conditions. You will act as a clinical lead within a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development, innovation, and clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses, including neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASD)
- Prescribe and monitor pharmacological interventions in line with NICE guidelines
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including counsellors, psychologists, and support staff
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and CQC standards
- Act as Clinical Director when required and contribute to strategic planning
- Participate in audits, CPD activities, and service improvement projects
- Work flexibly across in-person, remote, and hybrid settings as per client need
- Use digital health platforms and AI-enabled tools to enhance care delivery
Essential:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- On the Specialist Register in General Adult Psychiatry
- Independent prescriber status
- At least two years of substantive NHS experience
- Experience in diagnosing and managing adult ADHD and Autism
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines and CQC compliance
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Familiarity with digital platforms and ability to adapt to new technology
- Commitment to high clinical standards and patient-centred care
Desirable:
- Approved Clinician Status
- MRC Psych or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or the independent sector
- Proficiency in digital health platforms and AI-assisted consultation tools
- Training in psycho-pharmacology and neurodevelopmental psychiatry
- Interest in strategic growth and service development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 105,600.00-139,517.00 per year
