Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of mental health conditions while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Duties

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide ongoing therapy and medication management as required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Engage in regular supervision and consultation with colleagues to enhance clinical practice. Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff or trainees as necessary.

Skills

Strong background in patient care, with a focus on mental health. Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong analytical skills for assessing complex cases and developing appropriate treatment strategies. Empathy and compassion towards patients, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Pay: 95.96-121.98 per hour
