You will have experience of working in General Adult Psychiatry and have great interpersonal skills working with colleagues to work collaboratively with our team managers, and to provide leadership and clinical expertise to our highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary teams.
You will provide senior medical input and clinical leadership to the community mental health team and will have responsibility for those patients seen by himself/herself, together with those patients seen by medical staff directly supervised by the post holder.
As a part of your role you will assess new routine, urgent and emergency referrals from other agencies alongside other clinicians, provide consultation to non-medical clinicians and offer ongoing management for patients requiring longer term care.
