Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients across various age groups, including children and geriatrics. The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapy and medication management.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, including psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Provide crisis management and intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health issues. Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other therapeutic modalities as appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in telehealth services to expand access to care for patients. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in data collection and analysis to improve service delivery and outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.

Experience



Board certification in Psychiatry is required; post-residency experience preferred. Experience in pediatric psychiatry and working with children is highly desirable. Familiarity with addiction counseling, PTSD care, and geriatric psychiatry is a plus. Proven ability to manage crisis situations effectively. Strong background in mental health counseling, behavioral health, and patient assessment. Experience with medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes is essential. Previous hospital or clinic experience is beneficial, particularly in inpatient settings. Pay: 100.00-120.00 per hour
