The Trust is looking to recruit a full time Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our North Youth team. This fixed term post has come about to cover maternity leave, and joins a lively multidisciplinary team at 80 St Stephens Norwich.



The post holder will be expected to work in several different settings within the Locality, including other Trust facilities, primary care, local acute Hospital NHS Trust facilities, and patients' residences.

Main duties of the job




This role will provide Consultant level support to the Youth team in terms of being part of the MDT discussions and interventions offered to those accessing the services.


The role also entails a high level of clinical leadership in terms of both supporting service developments as well as maintaining good clinical governance and assurance that the service is safe and effective.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities




This is a full-time (10 session) role with 7.5 clinical sessions including clinics and team meetings and 2.5 SPAs which can be used for a range of activities as well as CPD to be discussed with the Clinical Director.
