An opportunity has arisen to join our team at Colchester Hospital in the Cancer & Diagnostics Clinical Delivery Group (CDG) . 10 programmed activities
We are inviting applications for a full-time Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Gastrointestinal (GI) Imaging .
Applicants must have completed CCT or equivalent (Pathway Portfolio) and must be on the Specialist Register .
The job plan will consist of 10 programmed activities (PAs) per week:
8.5 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) sessions
1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPA)
Typically includes audit, governance, CPD, teaching, and appraisal
1 SPA is usually delivered off-site
This indicative job plan will be reviewed annually and adjusted, if necessary, in discussion with the Clinical Lead and General Manager

The post holders' duties will be primarily based at the Colchester General Hospital. The timetable will include 8.5 direct clinical care (DCC) sessions and 1.5 supporting programmed activities (SPA). 1 SPA is usually off-site. The Candidate will be expected to share with colleagues a commitment to the general reporting, Duty radiology, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, and CT depending on interests and experience.
