Consultant Social Worker - Children in Care Team in Durham UK earning 35.45 hourly. This full-time position requires commitment for 37 hours per week over 3 months. What you will do:

• Manage a reduced caseload of looked after children to ensure thorough and effective social work care.
• Support the Team Manager by taking on leadership duties, helping guide the team to success.
• Facilitate complex cases and support colleagues through challenging situations.
• Chair stability and low-level strategy meetings to ensure smooth operations and decisions within the team.
• Drive team performance and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery.
• Be based in the Seaham office 1-2 days per week to engage collaboratively with colleagues.
