Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to establish diagnoses. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients. Provide care in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospice care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management, including public health initiatives. Utilise medical imaging and other diagnostic tools to aid in patient evaluation. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Stay updated with advancements in family medicine practices and participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a valid medical licence to practice in the UK. Proven experience in family medicine or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in medication administration. Familiarity with senior care practices, including ICU protocols and hospice care methodologies is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient care effectively. A commitment to public health initiatives and community health improvement strategies is desirable.
