Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced wills and probate solicitor / case-worker to join our legal team as a consultant and on a freelance basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of wills and probate nd be able to advise independently - and handle cases directly with the client.

We are starting a new, regulated (SRA) law firm in autumn 2025. So we are looking for someone to join as a consultant, handle the matters and build up a practice / the department.

Responsibilities



Draft wills for clients. Advise on will-related queries. Work on probate matters. Develop and extend the wills and probate side of Lucid!

Skills



Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of complex legal concepts to clients. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in IT systems for case management, documentation, and communication purposes. A compassionate approach towards clients facing challenging personal circumstances, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 25.00-150.00 per hour
