About the role



As the Director you will lead our project team to manage the design, development, and delivery of a multi-channel, countrywide career guidance system. You will work on a high-impact project with the brief to build an innovative technology enabled approach to career education, guidance and employment services that will positively impact the lives of an entire population.

Reporting directly to our Australian based Executive Director Innovation, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a high profile, country wide human capital management initiative, with significant social impact. This includes leading all phases of the project lifecycle from project initiation and stakeholder engagement, through detailed planning and risk management, to execution, monitoring, and successful completion. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to a high standard of quality. Working closely with senior government, education, and industry stakeholders, you will manage complex dependencies, ensure robust governance, and drive delivery of outcomes that support long term career development and employment outcomes.

Key responsibilities



Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a complex workforce development program, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, effectively managing expectations, influencing decision making, and providing strategic guidance throughout the program lifecycle. Lead the development and application of robust research and data analysis methodologies to generate actionable insights and support strategic initiatives. Design and refine consulting tools, frameworks, and templates to enhance delivery quality, scalability, and consistency across projects. Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring delivery excellence. Proactively identify, assess, and implement structured governance to ensure transparency and continuity of delivery across regions and workstreams. Write and deliver high quality reporting to communicate key deliverables, program status, insights, risks, and recommendations.

About you


Essential



Minimum 10+ years in strategic management consulting with Director-level experience in a top-tier (first or second tier) consulting firm Master's degree in Organisational Psychology, HR, Education, or related field; MBA (Russell Group or Oxbridge university graduate) ideal Deep knowledge of strategic consulting processes and ability to lead high-quality, complex project delivery Proven ability to lead senior consulting teams and drive high-performance outcomes Strong analytical mindset, dynamic thinker, and skilled in solving complex problems High resilience, tenacity, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity in fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication with outstanding stakeholder engagement and management capabilities Willingness and ability to travel internationally; must have full UK working rights.

Experience leading workforce development projects an advantage Experience delivering projects in the MENA region an advantage Familiarity with project management software
