The Opportunity
AliveCor is looking for a Consumer Marketing Lead to join our international marketing team. This is a fixed-term position of approximately 10 months to provide cover during a period of maternity leave. This role requires a highly strategic and results-oriented individual with extensive experience in consumer marketing, preferably in the medical devices industry. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of developing and implementing omni-channel marketing strategies that drive profitable unit sales and subscription growth. They must be adept at managing cross-functional teams and external partners, with a keen eye for optimizing resource and budget allocation, mitigating risks, and consistently achieving growth across diverse channels including retail, Amazon, and D2C. Furthermore, the successful candidate will excel at building and scaling marketing campaigns and crafting compelling message strategies that resonate across multiple geographies. This individual will combine strong analytical capabilities with exceptional executional skills to foster a high-performing environment and ensure AliveCor's continued growth.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of brand's marketing tactics, delivering revenue targets whilst adhering to defined budgets
Partner with multiple cross functional teams to execute brand initiatives and implement plans
Effectively plan to ensure that top line sales goals and bottom-line profit goals are met, by overseeing the execution of brand strategies through various functional departments, and external vendors, and by recognizing the profitability and revenue impact of all business opportunities
Drive growth across retail, Amazon and D2C website in top geographies, with consistent performance monitoring, reporting and optimization
Partner with multiple external partners to produce consumer communications and media executions in line with the brand strategy
Support media, campaign and testing strategies across EU including planning, creation, and on-going management of digital, social and email campaigns in partnership with agencies
Build and scale paid marketing campaigns across existing partners and identify new opportunities to drive hardware and subscription sales
Develop message strategy and creative communications across all tactics & geographies to support message strategy
Proactively perform regular media optimizations, monitoring market changes and identifying development opportunities
Measure ROI / ROAS on all implemented programs and presents results to all stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
A bachelor's degree
A minimum of 7 years consumer marketing and brand management experience within the consumer goods or healthcare / medical device industry
Knowledge and experience with both European retail and Amazon channels
Experience building brand communication and media plans
The ability to work with cross-functional teams
Experience in developing short and mid-term plans, and business analysis is preferred
