For 30 years we\'ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Consumer Products & Ecommerce Manager to lead all our ecommerce activities for our diverse range of consumer products.

You will be responsible for designing, promoting, and implementing comprehensive digital and ecommerce campaigns in collaboration with 1st party webstores, 3rd party online retailers, omnichannel retailers, marketplaces, and our licensees\' ecommerce business across all key categories. Your ultimate goal? To escalate traffic and revenue.

In this position, you will also be tasked to foster authentic connections across all our products and franchises. With your expertise in areas such as growth/performance marketing, content marketing, communications, data analytics, and consumer insights, you will capture the interest, demand, and wallet share of our international audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management or product owner experience, as well as a deep knowledge of Digital and Ecommerce Marketing techniques and channels to grow sales. Responsibilities:

  • Provide new service recommendations and highlight new product line opportunities for Rebellion to explore
  • Align with and support key programs for our digital & ecommerce channels delivering high-value traffic through cross-channel marketing and working with our franchise partners to optimise their marketing spend
  • Develop and deploy Rebellion\'s e-commerce strategy including category only and cross-category business plans to grow our brands presence
  • Build and maintain relationships with key online customers, lead activity plans and execution
  • Onboard new high-potential retail suppliers either for distribution of existing products or for direct to retail deals
  • Analyse and deliver digital marketing campaigns/programs for merch: set them up, track and optimize their performance to deliver a healthy ROI.
  • Create and maintain performance dashboards and provide commercial teams with actionable insights.
  • Implement brand specific and cross brand promotional campaigns
  • Product curation - identify high and low performing products, retire, promote and commission products accordingly.
  • Provide input into data management decisions including customer profile content and product catalogue strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the internal Web team on shared domain and digital strategies and roadmaps
  • Liaise with the Games, Publishing, Board Games and Film teams to ensure campaigns are coordinated and pushed across the appropriate social media channels, websites and email, whilst managing ecommerce & digital support to other internal teams and departments
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in similar role
  • Experienced with Multi Channel Account Management
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing
  • Operational knowledge of market research and analysis techniques
  • Extensive experience of implementing online marketing and social media campaigns
  • Commercial experience of using analytics and reporting software (e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI, Crystal Reports)
  • Experience of selling products through third parties and tracking sales data across multiple resellers and regions
  • Experience of managing website content in WordPress or similar systems
  • Understanding of web accessibility and ecommerce usability
  • A good understanding of current promotion channels (Social Media, Email, Google Ads)
  • Previous experience in the Game, Publishing or Film industry
