Benenden Health has exciting opportunities within its membership team for Sales Advisors, based in York, joining potential members and retaining existing members, with the opportunity to earn bonus up to 4k per annum on top of your 26k basic wage.



You'll be working on the telephone with the enthusiasm to deliver results in a dynamic and changing work environment. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills, but most importantly; strive to deliver a great member experience.





This role is essential to the successful journey of our members and the future of our outstanding business.



These positions are full time working 37.5hrs per week 9am 5pm Monday to Friday, based in our York office. Hybrid working is available after a successful probation period

with the first 6 months fully office based.

You'll benefit from a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme designed to give you in-depth knowledge of Benenden Health's core product, setting you up for success from day one.

To support this, there's a requirement to attend four weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday, 9am5pm, starting on Monday 24th November 2025 and running until Friday 19th December 2025.

You must be available for the whole training period and have no annual leave during this time.



Contact Centre Sales Advisor role:



You will speak to new and existing members through warm inbound and outbound calls (no cold calling) by explaining the benefits of our products and services.



In line with company core values, you will promote services using your interpersonal skills and training, helping potential and existing members to understand the benefits of membership to secure new business and member loyalty. You will show genuine interest, respect, and care to establish trust and build rapport.





You will take responsibility for identifying your own performance and coaching requirements to enhance personal performance and development.



You will work effectively individually and as part of a team striving to deliver an excellent member experience.



We are looking for applicants with:



Effective questioning and active listening skills. Enjoy working in a sales driven environment with a focus on quality. Self-motivated, professional, and resilient. Excellent telephone manner and the ability to think on your feet. Adept at presenting sales information in a concise manner Capacity to perform with a high degree of accuracy. Enthusiastic, dynamic, and positive attitude. Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
