White's Foodservice Equipment is a leading provider in the foodservice industry, managing a portfolio of seven websites built on a mix of WordPress and Shopify. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional user experiences and maintaining a strong online presence. All website builds and systems are handled in-house, ensuring high-quality and consistent results. We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Content Creation & SEO Apprentice.



Role Overview



This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse aspects of digital marketing and e-commerce management. You will be directly involved in creating impactful content, managing inventory across our websites, improving user experience, and optimising our websites for search engines (SEO). You will report directly to our Web Manager, ensuring you receive hands-on guidance and support throughout your apprenticeship.



Key Responsibilities



Content Creation:



Develop engaging and relevant content for blogs, product descriptions, and marketing campaigns. Create and manage content schedules to ensure regular updates across all platforms. Collaborate with the team to create multimedia content, including images and videos.

Inventory Management:



Assist with adding, updating, and managing product listings on WordPress and Shopify websites. Ensure product details are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.

User Experience (UX):



Assist in designing and implementing improvements to enhance user navigation and overall experience. Provide feedback on site layouts, usability, and performance.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):



Perform keyword research and implement SEO best practices across all websites. Optimise website content, meta tags, and descriptions to improve organic search rankings. Monitor website analytics and prepare reports on performance.

Entry requirements



GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C is required



Training to be provided



You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice



(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3. As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)



As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:



Producing a written Report Portfolio of evidence based work Presentation and Q&A Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
