Content Creator



The Students' Union at UWE is looking for a creative and resourceful Content Creator to join its energetic Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will produce high quality and engaging content which will connect with our diverse student audience, educating them about the enriching opportunities at UWE Bristol, as well as inspiring them into action.

They will plan and create written, visual and video content for a variety of platforms including social media, website and email, to build brand awareness of the Union and drive engagement with a variety of campaigns, initiatives and services.

Proactive and well organised with excellent communication and writing skills, the successful applicant will also have a desire to stay up to date with the latest trends, as well as capitalising on these to drive engagement.

We are seeking a candidate with a high standard of education, preferably to degree level (or equivalent), and previous experience, or knowledge, of working within a communications or marketing role.

Hours per Week:

37 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, Monday-Friday

Given the nature of the post, weekend and evening working will be required with notice to achieve the desired outcomes at key times of the year.

Holiday:

27 Days + Closure Days + Bank Holidays 'pro rata'

Based at Frenchay Campus- Bristol

*The postholder may be required to work at, or from any of the Union's establishments and in the surrounding Bristol area (Bower Ashton Campus, Frenchay Campus & Glenside Campus etc)

*Please note that due to the nature of our organisation, we do not recognise hybrid or remote working; therefore, this is an in-person position, and you will be required to work from the locations outlined above.
