Content Creator - Gilchrist Collection

We're looking for a highly creative, detail-focused Content Creator to capture and craft beautiful content across our venues. You'll help bring our brand to life on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more - from filming and editing Reels to supporting major campaigns and shoot days.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for weddings, a love for visual aesthetics, and an ability to turn even the simplest moment into a scroll-stopping story.

Key Responsibilities

Visit venues to capture content including setup, ceremonies, behind-the-scenes moments, decor details and team interactions Edit short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut and Instagram's native tools Turn raw footage (yours or others') into polished, trend-aware content that matches the brand's tone and aesthetic Work closely with the Social Media Manager to follow the weekly content calendar, support campaigns, and meet deadlines Understand trending formats and audio on Instagram/TikTok, and help the team stay ahead of what's working Organise and manage content folders, ensuring easy access to visuals for future posts As part of weekly reporting, review TikTok performance stats to identify what's gaining traction and feeding this insight into future content As part of the monthly marketing review, reflect on the past month's content - what worked well, what could be improved, and the actions you'll take to elevate content performance for the following month
What You're Great At Visual Storytelling

Confident capturing venue content solo, knowing what angles, lighting, and details matter Strong sense of what's aesthetic, on-trend, and aligned with the wedding industry and Gilchrist Collection Branding. Comfortable filming both spontaneous behind-the-scenes and carefully curated shots Editing & Design Skilled in CapCut, Instagram editing tools, and Canva for mobile and desktop Able to cut, crop, subtitle and polish content in line with campaign or venue tone Bonus if you know transitions, speed ramping, audio syncing and light colour grading
Organisation & Delivery

Reliable in managing multiple venues' content needs without missing a beat Fast turnaround on edits when required (especially for trending audios or real-time events)
