The Content Creator role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Content Creator to join our marketing team. This role requires a creative professional who can develop, manage, and optimise content across multiple channels while collaborating closely with sales, creative, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving brand awareness, generating prospects, and supporting campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Main Responsibilities for the Content Creator
Content Creation & Storytelling
Create engaging, high-quality, and shareable social media content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Proactively identify stories, trends, and real-time opportunities to showcase the brand and its impact.
Collaborate with internal teams (design, digital, client services, fundraising) to develop compelling narratives and creative concepts.
Produce audience-focused content for websites, blogs, emails, case studies, campaign copy, and promotional materials.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
Support the production of basic video and photography content (planning, filming, editing) where relevant.
Content Planning & Management
Plan and schedule content to support marketing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and wider business objectives.
Maintain an organised content calendar to ensure consistent output and alignment with key moments.
Manage and update content across platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and freshness.
Ensure accessibility best practices are applied across all content formats (e.g., alt text, subtitles).
Performance, Insights & Optimisation
Track and report on campaign and content performance across all digital channels.
Use analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI.
Identify opportunities to optimise content strategies, messaging, and formats to improve performance.
Continuously test new content types, formats, and creative approaches to improve engagement.
Audience, Market & Competitor Insights
Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant.
Analyse audience behaviours and insights to inform content planning and creative direction.
Support campaign planning by refining messaging based on market trends and audience insights.

Content Creator Experience & Knowledge
While formal qualifications are not required, the role demands a genuine passion for storytelling and a strong interest in social media.
At least 2 years of experience in content creation or social media management, preferably within a marketing or creative environment.
Content Creator Personal Skills & Attributes
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience with SEO, SEM, content management systems, and social media management tools.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Results-driven with a focus on generating leads and supporting business growth.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, creative, and marketing teams.
Analytical mindset to interpret campaign and website metrics to optimise performance.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for digital marketing.
On offer for the Content Creator
Salary: 32,000 - 36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Inclusion in our Profit Share Scheme (paying out up to 15% of basic salary) upon completion of 6-month probation period
