We are now looking for two experienced Content Designers to support our major website transformation project. This is an exciting opportunity to shape Aston's new digital presence and create content that is accessible, engaging, and aligned with our strategic goals.
As Content Designer, you will work closely with the Lead Content Designer, SEO Officer, and technical partners to create user-focused, high-quality content across priority areas such as student recruitment, research, enterprise engagement, and reputation-building. You will use data and user feedback to inform content design, ensure accessibility standards are met, and apply Aston's tone of voice consistently.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editorial skills, experience working collaboratively with subject matter experts, and a strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, and user-centred design principles. You will also have a proactive, organised, and collaborative approach with great attention to detail.
