PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 55,300 - 66,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Audio Scotland and Northern Ireland is seeking a dynamic and creative Content Editor to lead production across a growing slate of speech and music programming. Based in Glasgow, with regular travel to Edinburgh and Belfast, this leadership role will oversee editorial direction, team management, and content delivery across a diverse portfolio of programmes and podcasts including Front Row, Loose Ends, Pick of the Week, Jazz Record Requests, Radio 1 Dance with Connor Coates, Sound of Cinema, The Artificial Human, Book of the Week, Radio 3 In Concert and Classical Live. The successful candidate is likely to have a passion for the Arts in their broadest sense.
