Role Overview:

As a Content Manager at Pretty Pragmatic, you'll work with the agency team to create great-performing websites and digital experiences, resulting in outstanding outcomes for clients who really appreciate what we do for them.

The main elements of the role will be:

Website content management

- from adapting pages or creating new ones on existing websites through to getting the chance to create the content structure on new websites from scratch.

New website management

- helping to populate new websites and build out the content structure so they're fantastic digital experiences from the day they go live.

SEO reviews

- using our range of tools to review SEO performance and identify areas where improvements can be made.

Website reviews

- you'll review new website functionality and ensure it delivers the optimum user experience. You'll also develop some UX skills as part of this.

Content briefing

- creating copy briefs and working with copywriters on the creation of blogs, articles and other marketing collateral.

Reporting

- creating client facing reports to show what we've achieved, along with recommendations and analysis to help clients take advantage of new and emerging opportunities.
It's important to highlight, this isn't a copywriting role, this is very much focused on website management, optimisation, SEO, and analytics.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with some agency or in-house digital marketing experience. You'll be familiar with Google Analytics and Search Console, along with SEO tools such as SEMRush. In terms of website CMS experience, you'll ideally have some hands on experience with Umbraco and/or WordPress.

You'll want to develop an understanding of the changing digital behaviours brought from AI (we can very much teach you here), and want to play a role in helping our clients to make the most of these new opportunities.

Along with that, there's a few key traits that will make you the perfect fit:

A curious character

- you'll be eager to stay on top of how things are going, what could be made better, and be one of the first to know the latest trends.

A keen bean

- you'll be inquisitive and want to learn new things as you go - we've got a wide range of skills in the team and we want you to tap into them.

An impact maker -

you'll be eager to know how your work performs and want to use that knowledge to create things that are even more powerful.

A devil in the detail

- you'll be comfortable getting stuck into the detail of platforms like Google Analytics and SEMrush, and then be able to talk about it with clients without boggling them.

A fun lover

- we're here to enjoy what we do and want you to add to the fun too.
