About the Role
Epos Now is seeking a highly motivated Content Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Content, the Content Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimising our digital content across our websites. You'll also help us continue to scale our written and video content, writing and proofing copy for a range of digital communications. You will have two content executives as direct reports. You will support PR initiatives in the business to help promote the business externally. This remote position requires a technical-adept and creative thinker who can ensure that our compelling content aligns with the company brand and tone of voice while meeting SEO, UX, and conversion best practices
Key Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication: Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and engagement, including knowledge of how to write for SEO briefs
Project management: Strong organisational and time-management skills to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical skills: Experience in content management (preferably with SilverStripe or similar CMS platforms) to publish and manage content, and use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders remotely.
Attention to detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure all content is formatted correctly and maintains consistency across multiple platforms.
Creativity: Innovative thinker who can create engaging and impactful content.
Some remote team management experience is desirable
Core Responsibilities
Oversee the content management system (CMS), currently SilverStripe, to build, update, and maintain landing pages and other content across our websites, covering nine countries. Lead regular content CMS audits of all websites.
Implement best practices for SEO, user experience, and conversion optimisation to enhance site performance and user engagement.
Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting website issues, working closely with the web development, CRO, design, and SEO teams to resolve any problems efficiently.
Brief and coordinate with the design team to create necessary assets and support the promotion of product and app launches on the website.
Create, edit, and proofread compelling content that adheres to the company's tone of voice. This includes SEO-optimised copy, paid ad copy, emails, and guidebooks.
Assist in leading promotional campaigns, product launches, and other key initiatives across the website.
Help manage and execute the content strategy led by the Head of Content, including assisting with the social media strategy and PR strategy, as required
Either immediately, or after training - be responsible for the management of two content executives
Success Measures:
Content management: Resolve 95% of content-related issues within 48 hours of identification
Website content quality: Maintain the number of content errors on the website to under 1%.
Case studies: Support the production of an average of 1 case study (minimum) per month.
Working with the CRO team to increase conversion rate on key website landing pages (such as rolling out successful test results, and increasing user engagement).
Working with an SEO team to increase visibility on search engines and drive more organic traffic to key SEO pages (such as writing content for on-page optimisation or for SEO blogs).
Working with the Paid Media team, write compelling copy to help increase conversion rates on ads
