Content Producer and Graphic Designer



We're looking for a passionate content producer and Graphic Designer with a creative flair and a keen eye for detail, to join our specialist design team at BMD. You'll be surrounded by ambitious and purpose driven Landscape Architects and Ecologists who are making a difference to our planet through the visioning and delivery of aspirational landscapes.



With a passion for social channels and web platforms, you'll combine your understanding of the audiences that use social channels with our recently developed personas. The content you create will be shared across our growing social media and digital platforms, and used within bid documents and our marketing material, injecting a mix of media to add vibrancy and balance between static and video storytelling. You'll play a key role in our mission by communicating our core values, thought leadership and stories surrounding the places we create for people and nature to thrive.

With excellent interpersonal skills and a drive for finding and telling compelling stories you will work collaboratively in a supportive team. You will have a background in graphic design, gained at college, university or directly in the workplace.

Job description.

Content Producer and Graphic Designer, your responsibilities include:

Shaping and working to an overarching marketing and content plan Ensuring a regular and appropriate volume of content is scheduled Creating strong and visually appealing content in line with the content plan, working with the appropriate platforms, including primary channels of LinkedIn, Instagram and the company website Crafting compelling captions and content for articles Capturing content, which reflects our wide range of projects and skills to include video and editing video content, for reels and stories. Providing community engagement on the channels to nurture and develop audiences, signposting queries and demonstrating we are a listening and conversational company Monitoring for opportunities to participate in relevant conversations, which reflect our offer and what's happening in the Landscape Architecture and Ecology sectors. Ensuring clear and effective communication to foster a 'contagious content culture', whereby the wider team is excited to input to and share stories Holding content think tanks and brainstorming Maintaining the content on the company website and liaising with the web design and development agency, to ensure the website is evolving and providing a great user experience for audiences Research and analytics, benchmarking success Keeping up to date with digital marketing insights and trends Integrating digital content with wider marketing approach Supporting our design team in preparing copy, graphics and stories for bids and pitches Finetuning copy and graphics for project case studies for the website
What we need from you

Demonstrable interest in digital and social media A strong graphic design background A can do, creative but pragmatic attitude Knowledge of Social Media Platforms and website CMS A basic understanding of marketing Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail Friendly and able to work independently and as part of a team A creative flair Familiarity with creative and editing software, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite - including Indesign/Illustrator/Photoshop
- Premiere Pro/After Effects
- Social media scheduling tools - Hootsuite/Sprout Social or similar
- An understanding of Google Analytics
- A basic understanding of CMS system would be advantageous such as Drupal or Wordpress

Fluent in both written and spoken English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-33,000.00 per year
