Create, maintain, and follow testing documentation such as QA checklists and test plans. Support the QA process to ensure on-time delivery and a consistent learner experience. Progression opportunity: Making amends directly and working with Subject Matter Experts to maintain existing courses.

Independently investigate and replicate issues to understand their root cause. Contribute to discussions about course structure, design logic, and usability. Flag and explain issues objectively and constructively, considering both technical and learner perspectives. Keep up to date with quality standards, accessibility guidelines (e.g. WCAG), and QA practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Learning Designers, Developers, and Project Managers throughout the production lifecycle. Participate in team stand-ups and retros to share progress, blockers, and learnings. Provide feedback to colleagues on quality, consistency, and learner impact.

Product Communications

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders. Report defects and issues using appropriate tools (e.g. JIRA) and in line with QA protocols. Provide clarity on testing outcomes and support others in interpreting quality feedback.

Innovation & Growth

Suggest improvements to QA processes, tools, or standards. Contribute to internal resources (e.g. QA guides, consistency standards). Build knowledge of e-learning technologies, accessibility standards, and testing tools. Learn from feedback and coaching to improve your QA skills and judgement.

Who We Are Looking For

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

Education: You will hold a degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field such as English, Communications, Education, or Media. Technical familiarity: You will have, or be willing to develop, familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Adapt, Rise, Storyline) and awareness of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG). Quality-focused experience: You will have experience completing structured, detail-oriented tasks such as proofreading, data entry, testing, or content review, gained through academic, voluntary, or professional settings. Communication skills: You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express quality issues clearly, objectively, and professionally. Attention to detail: You will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards in all work. Analytical mindset: You will have an analytical and curious approach, with the confidence to question and challenge design assumptions constructively. Collaboration and independence: You will be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Organization under pressure: You will remain calm, methodical, and organized under pressure, maintaining high-quality standards in fast-paced environments.
