Content Supply Manager (12m FTC) - 50,000 DOE - London / Hybrid
Really exciting role with a tech start-up searching for a Content Supply Manager to build the supply side of their new platform-- this is a government funded initiative helping creators license and monetise their digital content on transparent terms, while giving AI teams ethical access to high-quality data.
Working in a crack project team of 10, you will be able to think on your feet and work nimbly with a flexible and 'can-do' attitude. You will effectively manage stakeholders and thrive in the process of building a solution that exceeds customers expectations.
This role would really suit someone with experience of working with cultural institutions, from an arts/ publishing background.
Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the supply base: Identify, engage, and onboard priority content owners and representative bodies.
  • Partner & influence: Build trusted relationships with creators, licensors, and ecosystem partners.
  • Negotiate smartly: Close agreements and licensing terms balancing quality, cost, compliance, and (where right) exclusivity.
  • Smooth onboarding: Help partners prepare metadata/assets and list content on the platform.
  • Voice of the customer: Capture structured feedback and feed it into the product roadmap.
  • Keep it compliant: Work with legal to ensure copyright, licensing, and privacy standards are met.
Key Requirements
  • Track record in content sourcing, vendor management, or data acquisition in a start-up or tech-led environment.
  • Confident negotiator with fluency in licensing agreements, copyright, and data/privacy considerations.
  • Relationship-builder who can engage senior external stakeholders and industry bodies.
  • Analytical mindset: you can assess content value, market trends, and performance.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well with product, legal, and engineering.
Nice to have
  • Experience in data marketplaces, digital content platforms, or the creative industries.
  • End-to-end ownership of complex sourcing projects (from identification to integration).
  • Familiarity with metadata standards and content cataloguing.
