Contract: June - September 2024 (rota-based shift work including evenings & weekends)
Location: London (various venues), Manchester & Liverpool
Experience: This role is ideal for current students and recent graduates looking to gain experience in live events within the out-of-home TV environment. Training and support will be provided for all successful candidates.
Responsible to: Ad Operations Manager & Ad Operations Team

ROLE SUMMARY



We are recruiting a number of Content Technicians for an exciting opportunity to assist us in delivering our annual outdoor screening event across a variety of premium locations this summer. C-Screens' "Summer Live" captures the most iconic sporting events of the summer with our range of giant pop-up screens and fanzones showcasing the Euros, Wimbledon, England Cricket, Tour de France, The Open Championship, The Hundred, Olympics, Paralympics and lots more.



The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all on-screen content, live sport broadcasts and client advertising. We are looking for enthusiastic and intuitive individuals to join our friendly team and support us in delivering our biggest Summer Live to date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Monitoring the screen to ensure the correct content is playing as per the weekly content schedules. To ensure the advertising playlists are played around the live TV content where applicable. Assisting the Ad Ops and Sales teams by taking photos of the advertising campaigns and audiences to share with clients. To operate the C-Screens C-Player system to deliver advertising and live content, reporting any technical issues to the Tech team liaising with the wider team to solve any ad-hoc tech problems. Point-of-contact for any ad-hoc requests from landowners and check in with the team regularly with live updates. Assist with the logistics for any client activation or experiential events that occur at the site.



REQUIRED SKILLS




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to confidently liaise with different teams internally and externally. A team-player who can be flexible, reliable, work collaboratively and be accountable for the performance of their screen. Good problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative to execute tasks effectively. The candidate can work well under pressure and remain calm within the live event environment. Presentable, polite and well-mannered. You will be representing C-Screens in the public space. Punctual and shows strong desire to learn more about how to contribute to the overall success of the event. A good understanding of audio-visual technology with the ability to monitor and resolve technical problems when advised. A good understanding of the sporting event landscape.
