We are looking for a hands-on, natural copy writer with an instinct for storytelling who can help us develop brilliant written content. You will be a proactive content writer who knows and understands the mechanics of beautifully written benefit led copy, that effortlessly communicates technologically advanced products. You are tech savvy and live and breathe the digital world. You will have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement at every level. Someone who has experience producing B2C and B2B branded content and writing about solutions as well as products, perhaps even have a knack for strong captions.
This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write material targeted for an engaged but discerning audience. It goes without saying as a tech copywriter you are detail-oriented, self-motivated and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
Collaboration with the broader marketing team and business is vital. An affinity for technology and the importance of clear and consistent benefit led communication will be key.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for both short-form and long-form copy writing across a range of content which includes web page copy, blog posts, meta-descriptions, landing page copy, emails, event collateral, retail brand pages and more. awards submissions and guest thought-leadership posts
Regularly produce various content types, including blogs, email, articles, video copy, infographics, case studies, whitepapers, and even assisting on social media posts.
Leverage messaging, positioning, and value propositions to inform copy production
Ability to unravel technical product information into clear and concise copy.
Work closely with product and design teams to create engaging blog posts, web page copy, case studies, infographics, and product copy.
Collaborate with sales and product marketing on sales enablement content including case studies, data-driven blog posts and pdfs, and educational content about our products and solutions.
Champion the use of content to channel key messages - throughout the customer buyer journey and in different verticals or product categories.
Create and maintain a content calendar
Collaborate with the growth marketing team on content distribution, content optimization, and SEO/GEO.
Research effective long-tail as well as head keywords using tools like Semrush, ahrefs etc.
Transcribe and edit content produced by other members of the team
Keep up to date with the latest industry stats and reports to react to content that reflects key trends / hot topics
Collaborate with other members of the team to create innovative content ideas for Marketing Campaigns
Assist on Website product copy updates and maintenance
Key Requirements
A natural flair for written communication
Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
The ability to ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality
The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, SEO best practices, content & social media marketing3-5 years of experience in content writing and marketing in the technology sector
Can work with multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines.
Hands on experience working with SEO to inform optimised content
Familiarity with HTML and web traffic metrics a bonus
Interest in digital communication, AI, technology, and industry trends.
Knowledge of marketing automation tools such as Hubspot preferred but not essential
Experience in CMS tools such as WordPress.
Detail orientated.
