Responsibilities

Develop high-quality written content tailored to target audiences, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, and marketing copy Proofread and copy edit all content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and depth in all published materials Fact-check information for accuracy and credibility before publication Edit content for tone, style, and consistency using editing best practices such as AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style Collaborate with editors, designers, and marketing teams to produce cohesive content strategies Write proposals, briefs, or other technical documents as needed Maintain a consistent voice that aligns with brand standards while adapting tone for different platforms Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience

Proven experience in journalism, copywriting, technical writing, or related fields is preferred Strong writing skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility across different formats and styles Familiarity with Word processing tools and content management systems Knowledge of AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, and best practices in editing and proofreading Experience with research techniques and fact-checking processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas through written content Creative writing skills are a plus for developing engaging narratives and storytelling elements Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
