IASME is a cyber security certification company based in the beautiful Malvern Hills, with offices in Belfast and Dalgety Bay, near Edinburgh. We work with over 900 cyber security experts to help organisations improve and show their cyber security. We also certify connected devices and ships of all sizes around the world. Through the Civil Aviation Authority's ASSURE scheme, we help the aviation industry manage their cyber security risks.

This role offers a mix of working from home and in the office. You will need to come to our Malvern office at least one day a week.

A BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check will be required for this role.

Content Writer

?to join our team, working alongside the Content Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer with a passion for creating high-quality, engaging, and accurate content. The successful candidate will play a key role in communicating complex cyber security concepts in simple everyday language to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:



Create compelling content:

?Write and edit a variety of content, including blogs, email templates, newsletters, guidance documents, webpages, FAQs, case studies, interviews, and video scripts.

Research and simplify complex topics:

?Read, research, and comprehend detailed and technical information about cyber security schemes, translating it into clear, concise, and engaging content for a range of audiences.

Proofread and edit:

?Review and proofread articles, cyber security guidance, and requirements documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Collaborate across teams:

?Work closely with the Content Manager, Marketing team, technical experts, and business development managers to ensure content aligns with organisational goals and messaging.

Maintain tone and style:

?Ensure all content adheres to IASME's tone of voice, style guidelines, and brand identity.

Stay updated:

?Keep up to date with developments in cyber security, government policies, and industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and accurate.

Required Skills:



Exceptional writing skills:

?Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and grammatically accurate content for a variety of formats and audiences.

Attention to detail:

?A meticulous approach to proofreading and editing, ensuring all content is error-free and of the highest quality.

Research skills:

?Ability to quickly understand and synthesise complex information, particularly in technical or specialised fields.

Adaptability:

?Comfortable working on a wide range of content types, from technical guidance to friendly blogs.

Organisational skills:

?Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Team player:

?Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Experience:



Experience in writing about technical or specialised topics.

Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for digital content.

Basic understanding of AI and prompt engineering (training will be provided).

Pay: 25,000.00-27,500.00 per year
