Job Description

Job Advert

We are looking for a creative and proactive Content Writer / Specialist with a proven track record of crafting strategically sound B2B content solutions. Your main role will be to create compelling content that inspires, informs and engages - but you'll also get the opportunity to get stuck into more complex briefs and pitches, working closely with our other talented teams.

Responsibilities and duties

Research, structure, and craft compelling written content to meet the client's brief and planned output format (e.g. website, whitepaper, article, etc.). Drive the creation of smaller-scale strategic content solutions (e.g. email flows, social campaigns, landing pages, etc.) Work closely with our senior strategists and wider project teams and play a key role in supporting the development of more complex, larger-scale strategic content solutions. Use your specialist content knowledge and experience to actively contribute to team ideation sessions and, when appropriate, share content ideas and strategies with clients. Provide content input for new business pitches, including value propositions and messaging frameworks, and creating and editing content for presentations. Liaise with our Client Services team to ensure that all content meets both the client's expectations and the company's brand guidelines. Take ownership of multiple tasks, projects, and priorities to ensure they are all delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. Support best practices in content development by engaging in content research activities, helping to inform and guide audience profiling and content strategy. Stay up to date and informed on content and content optimisation trends (including SEO and GEO) and apply this knowledge to continually improve outcomes. Look for opportunities to leverage AI and other emerging technologies to improve project workflows, enhance outputs, and drive better business efficiencies.

Desired skills

3-4 years previous agency or in-house experience, within a creative or digital environment, and proven experience of delivering multiple content projects to tight timescales. Confidence in communicating ideas and delivering compelling content across digital channels and print. Fully developed research skills, an enquiring mind, and a natural curiosity to find out and absorb information about unfamiliar topics, products, or markets. The ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical creativity and a flair to make complex propositions simple and easy to understand. An excellent grasp of the English language, including exceptional spelling, grammar, and punctuation, is essential. Knowledge of working within the parameters of large corporate tone of voice guidelines to create campaign content that can be easily localised for different markets. A positive and proactive 'can-do attitude', plus the ability to work quickly under pressure, with constant attention to detail, whilst always striving to produce the highest standard of work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience of content management systems, analytics tools, and AI technology is a plus.
