Content Writer
Job Description
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our thriving team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
We have a wide array of clients, covering a range of industries. As a Content Writer, you'll be working in our content team, writing SEO optimised content that creates results and drives traffic to our clients' websites.
One day you'll be writing a blog, the next website content, meta descriptions or marketing asset copy. You'll be doing something different every day and must be comfortable researching a topic to the level you are able to write authoritatively about it.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated, quick self-learner who can take instruction and work well with others. You should love writing engaging and informative pieces and be comfortable making revisions and meeting deadlines.
You'll need strong writing skills. Previous marketing agency experience would be great, but it's not a deal breaker.
Required Skills
Qualified or experienced in Marketing, English or related discipline 1-2 years' experience of copywriting/content writing, including copy editing and proofreading skills A clear and transparent communicator Keen attention to detail Good understanding of different writing styles and different tone of voice Be a team player - supporting other departments' content needs Work to deadlines
Desired Skills
Knowledge of SEO practices Writing/Blogging experience Experience working in a Marketing agency
