About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Content Writer with a strong background in SEO writing and a deep understanding of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) content strategies. This is a remote, freelance (1099) opportunity, ideal for self-driven writers who can deliver high-quality, optimized content consistently.

As a 1099 contractor, you'll work independently, providing engaging, informative, and conversion-focused content for blogs, product pages, landing pages, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content tailored to the D2C market Conduct topic research and keyword analysis using SEO tools Follow provided briefs and brand guidelines with precision Revise content based on editorial feedback when required Meet strict deadlines and deliver consistent word output Collaborate remotely with editors and project managers

Requirements:

2+ years of proven experience in content writing, with a focus on SEO and D2C marketing Excellent command of the English language (grammar, tone, and style) Experience writing for eCommerce, consumer brands, or similar verticals Familiarity with tools like Surfer SEO, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (preferred but not mandatory) Strong research skills and attention to detail Ability to accept payment through standard US payment platforms (PayPal, Wise, etc.) Must be authorized to work as a 1099 contractor in the United States

Compensation:

$0.003 per word, based on the approved final word count Payments made bi-weekly or monthly upon invoice submission
