We are recruiting for a Litigation solicitor to join our

Contentious Trust and Probate specialist team

. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career as a Contentious Trust and Probate solicitor dealing with varied and high-quality work, including (without limitation) matters such as:

Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975

Challenges to the validity of Wills (capacity, undue influence, lack of knowledge)

Disputes regarding the proper administration of estates

Interpretation and construction of Will disputes (including rectification)

Beneficial and resulting trusts

Claims under TOLATA 1996

Undue influence and real estate fraud

Claims based upon Proprietary Estoppel

Property and land disputes

Mediations

Professional negligence arising out of negligent estate planning

We have an impressive and varied client base and are particularly active in the agriculture sector. The specialist contentious trust and probate team are ably supported by large and successful private client and non-contentious property and agriculture departments.

We would love to hear from you if you have the technical expertise in dealing with this growing area of specialism, enjoy building and developing new and existing client relationships and want exposure to high quality work. We are happy to consider all levels of PQE from two years upward and fully support career progression. Our ideal candidate will:

Have a civil litigation background with experience of contentious trust and probate and property dispute matters

Have excellent client care skills

Have determination to succeed and progress

Can show initiative and the desire to learn and develop

Has a professional and commercial approach to delivering legal advice
