Control Systems Commissioning Engineer

Full-time hours required:

08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays

Location:

On-site position for 6 months initially. Training and project handover to be done at Adsyst head office (Yateley, Hampshire, GU46 7AA)


The provision of specialist services as a Control Systems Commissioning Engineer providing controls expertise to deliver on projects. The PLC programming for this project is Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation.


To help with the design documentation, develop software, assist with testing and commissioning. Some remote working can be accommodated following an initial period on-site and in the office in Yateley, requested and approved by the Project Manager accordingly.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and good knowledge of Rockwell PLCs as well as other SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products is beneficial.

Control Systems Commissioning Engineer duties include:

Production, modification, testing and commissioning of PLC software Writing detailed functional design specifications The configuration of system architecture, network connections

Control Systems Commissioning Engineer required skills / experience:

Software Engineering Degree

and/or

Electrical qualifications Good verbal and written communication Previous control system experience ( 5 years+ ) Experience of PLC programming in Rockwell Clean UK Driving License Must be eligible to work in the UK
