Salary range: 53,607 - 56,646 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

The Opportunity



As a Contract Quality Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of construction and property services contracts -- from feasibility to final account. You'll ensure our housing and public buildings meet high standards of safety, quality, and value for money. Your expertise will guide complex projects, provide critical technical advice, and lead both internal teams and external partners.


What You'll Be Doing:



Commission and manage high-value mechanical and electrical services, repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment projects. Lead contract performance, project design, budgeting, procurement, and delivery. Deliver customer-focused, compliant, and value-driven services. Provide expert surveying advice across the Council. Collaborate with Finance, Housing, Compliance, and Planning teams. Manage contractor performance, develop KPIs, and monitor quality. Ensure adherence to statutory approvals and health and safety standards. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure effective stakeholder communication. Support sustainability targets, innovation, and continuous service improvement.

About You





You bring:


? Proven experience in large-scale contract and project management in the public or private sector


? Strong knowledge of construction, building surveying, health and safety, and procurement regulations


? Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills


? Expertise in budget control, financial forecasting, and programme delivery


? Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities


? Commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and environmental sustainability
