We're hiring for an experienced Contract Manager to take the reins on a portfolio of Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts across London and Essex. This is a leadership-focused role managing engineers, clients, and internal coordination -- ideal for someone with strong people skills and a solid technical understanding of building services.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll oversee a team of 4-5 engineers (static and foot-mobile), working closely with the helpdesk and acting as the key contact for Facilities Managers across retail and commercial sites. Your focus will be on managing performance, service quality, and communication -- not tools-on tasks. You'll be responsible for keeping contracts on track, handling escalations, and ensuring clients are well supported.

This is a replacement role due to performance issues in the current setup -- so you'll step into an active set of live contracts with immediate opportunities to make an impact.

What You'll Need

Experience managing PPM/FM contracts and engineering teams Strong relationship skills with clients, FMs, and helpdesk personnel Confidence managing site performance, escalations, and priorities Competent technical knowledge in building services (HVAC ideal) Comfortable managing high email volumes and reporting clearly
