We are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Contracts Manager to join our team, with a focus on supporting Offshore Wind projects. This is a key role within the business, responsible for delivering expert advice and direction on all major commercial contracts, both at customer and subcontractor levels. You will be pivotal in guiding the business through the entire contract lifecyclefrom tender stage through to deliveryensuring robust risk management and contractual compliance at every step.



Day-to-day, you will provide clear and concise legal advice on Offshore Wind contracts to a wide range of internal stakeholders, helping them understand complex legislation, specifications, and contractual obligations. You will draft both standard and bespoke legal documents, including subcontractor terms and formal dispute communications, and will lead discussions with external legal counsel when required. A central part of your role will involve developing supplier contracts, managing risk strategies, and overseeing project insurance requirements. You'll work closely with project teams to influence decision-making, protect business interests, and escalate critical issues when appropriate. Additionally, you'll support Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on contractual matters during project execution and offer guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed.



Experience in the Offshore Wind or heavy construction manufacturing industries is preferred. You will have a solid background in drafting and interpreting complex commercial contracts, with knowledge of estimating, sourcing, and procurement practices. Familiarity with Balance of Plant and FIDIC contracts, along with mitigation and claim management experience, will be highly advantageous. You must be a confident communicator and negotiator with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. A proven ability to work across international teams and develop effective commercial relationships is essential, as is a track record of delivering successful projects and contracts within budget and scope.



In return, we can offer an attractive base salary of up-to 65k (DOE), 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, a 5% employer pension contribution and Medicash.
