As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled
Contract Manager
to join our dynamic team and oversee the delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Role Overview
The
Contract Manager
will be responsible for managing the successful execution of fit-out contracts within the hospitality and retail sectors. You will ensure that all aspects of the project -- from planning, procurement, and budgeting to delivery and handover -- are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple fit-out projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor and manage project costs, schedules, and contractual obligations.
Prepare and review contracts, variations, and financial documentation.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance.
Oversee procurement processes in collaboration with the buying team.
Lead project meetings and produce regular progress reports.
Ensure all projects adhere to health & safety regulations and company standards.
Desirable Experience and Skills
Proven experience as a
Contract Manager
within the
fit-out industry
, ideally in
hospitality or retail/shop fit-out
.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Proficient in
ERP systems

Sage X3
experience highly desirable.
Excellent understanding of construction contracts and project documentation.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solution-focused, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Full UK driving licence required.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field desirable but relevant experience will also be considered.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates are advantageous but not essential.
