Due to Axil's continuous growth, we are hiring a Contract Manager to join the Commercial team covering the Midlands region.

Job Purpose

To ensure the companies TWM contracts are delivered safely, compliantly, efficiently and in a cost-effective & profitable manner. The company prides itself in its high levels of service provided and the Contract Manager plays a key role in ensuring the customers' expectations are exceeded.

Principal duties and responsibilities

Manage a small portfolio of TWM contracts Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders Ensure H&S procedures and risks are well managed Regular visits to customer sites to ensure ongoing projects are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed timescales Development of ongoing improvement plans Develop new initiatives and innovations Escalation point for any service issues Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients Production of customer Management Information Ensuring accurate monthly invoicing Forecast and track client account metrics Work alongside sales team to deliver new contract implementation

Experience Required

Proven experience in contract management and negotiation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Waste industry experience is beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously Proficiency in contract management software and tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required)

Location

The main sites this role will cover are based in Oxford, Birmingham, Bognor and Swindon. Ideally, you would be based somewhere in the midlands/M40 corridor.
