As a Thermatic Contract Manager you are a member of an Accounts team. The role of Contract Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services for one or more client contracts, ensuring high standards, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role balances operational oversight with client engagement and may include line management of supervisors and administrative staff. It plays a critical role in supporting service quality, cost control, and the effective use of systems and technology.

Main location -
Our head office is based in Salford, Manchester. Opportunities to work remotely working are available, however the role requires some office presence is required.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Opportunities to work flexibly are available.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Behaviours:
Strong knowledge of technical and soft Facilities Mabagement service delivery, including SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and H&S regulations (e.g., RAMS, permit-to-work).
Proficient in CAFM systems for scheduling, tracking, reporting, and Microsoft Office.
Commercially aware: budgeting, cost control, invoicing, and procurement processes.
Familiar with digital transformation trends in Facilities Management, including automation and AI.
Understanding of social value, sustainability, and supply chain management.
Proven experience managing or coordinating Facilities Management services across commercial contracts.
Client-facing, with a track record of meeting KPIs and service standards.
Supervisory/team leadership experience; ability to coach and support staff.
Exposure to system improvements, digital initiatives, and service innovations.
Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely; IWFM Level 3 or higher (or working towards).
Responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day Facilities Management service delivery across 1-2 client contracts.
Serve as primary client contact for operational matters; attend meetings and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and H&S requirements.
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; ensure RAMS, permits, and materials are in place.
Line-manage supervisors/admins where applicable, providing support and guidance.
Use CAFM for job management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
Monitor costs, raise POs, reconcile spend, and ensure accurate invoicing.
Support contract reporting, audits, and client reviews with accurate data.
Drive service improvements and digital/automation initiatives.
Promote H&S culture and compliance across the contract.
Contribute to social value and sustainability objectives.
Support mobilisation and transition of new contracts as needed.
