is a leading contractor specialising in property refurbishment, new build, cyclical maintenance, and planned works across social housing, public & commercial buildings and domestic new build. We're seeking an accomplished

Contracts Manager

to oversee multiple live projects across the North West and Yorkshire--ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and to the highest standard.

This is a senior site-based role for someone with strategic oversight and proven operational experience in construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead contract delivery across refurbishment, planned maintenance, void refurbishments, and cyclical works Manage project teams: site managers, supervisors, trades, and subcontractors Create & Deliver programmes on time and within budget, maintaining KPIs and client satisfaction Monitor progress, produce reports, RAMS/COSHH assessments and resolve escalated issues proactively Oversee health & safety compliance and statutory obligations across sites Conduct site audits, pre-start meetings, handovers, and client liaison Manage cost forecasts, and control contract variations

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years' experience in contracts management within refurbishment or maintenance sectors Strong understanding of CDM, building regulations, and social housing standards Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills Competency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and construction management platforms Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally Relevant qualifications: SMSTS, NVQ Level 6 Construction Management, or equivalent
