The Role

The

core function

is to carry out

standard occupational air monitoring and exposure sampling

(personal & static) for

dusts, fumes, vapours and gases

across UK client sites, and to produce clear, compliant reports with actionable controls (typical

1:1

ratio -- one survey day followed by one reporting day).

Experience with

isocyanates monitoring

(e.g., paints/PU processes) and

biological monitoring

is

advantageous

(not mandatory). Experience with

Noise at Work

and

Control of Vibration at Work

assessments is also

beneficial

but

not essential

.

You will report to the

Head of Operations

based at our Bridgend head office.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct

air monitoring / occupational hygiene sampling

at sites nationwide. Assess results against

COSHH

& HSE guidance (e.g., WELs) and draft practical control recommendations. Produce structured technical reports (clear methods, results, interpretation, controls). Liaise professionally with clients and the Head of Operations for scheduling and quality.

Requirements (must-haves)

BOHS membership (or equivalent professional membership)

to demonstrate competence. Proven hands-on experience in

occupational hygiene air monitoring / exposure assessment

. Strong data handling and

technical report writing

skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to

travel nationwide

(including overnights). Able to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have

Isocyanates monitoring

(MDI/TDI) and/or

biological monitoring

experience. Experience with

Noise at Work

and/or

Vibration

assessments. BOHS modules (W501-W507) or similar credentials. A related degree is

welcome but not required
