We are currently seeking a Contract Review Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time office-based position in Wesdnesbury.
The Contract Review Engineer will be responsible for the thorough evaluation and interpretation of technical and contractual requirements for customer orders, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and internal capabilities. This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Production, helping to mitigate risk and ensure customer satisfaction in the supply of high-integrity fasteners and associated components to highly regulated sectors.
Responsibilities:
Review of customer orders and per line item review that all specifications, drawings and technical documentation have been complied with.
Review all allocated raw material is correct against customer requirements.
Ensure all technical and contractual requirements are fully understood and executable prior to Job card release to the Manufacturing department.
Ensure Job cards are compliant against any MPS documentation created. (API & Customer)
Ensure all product and documentation requirements align with applicable international standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, NORSOK, RCC-M, etc.).
Highlight and resolve discrepancies, ambiguities, or conflicts in documentation before order acceptance.
Participate in pre-production meetings, technical clarification calls, and audits when required.
Assist with the generation and control technical documentation such as MPS's.
Provide technical support to other areas of the business, including the sales, Manufacturing and Planning departments.
Qualifications:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.
NVQ or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering advantageous but not essential
Essential Experience:
Ability to read engineering drawings
Engineering experience within the manufacturing industry
Familiarity with metals commonly used in the fastener industry is beneficial, though not required.
IT literate, with knowledge of all basic Microsoft Office programs, including word and excel.
Excellent numeracy skills
Requirements:

Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
