Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Scheduler to join our dedicated Scheduling Department.

As a Contract Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' requirements are met efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:



You will be responsible for:

Order Handling:

Taking over orders passed from the sales department and ensuring accurate execution through to the final scheduling stage.

Scheduling:

You will need to produce a detailed and accurate order schedule from the information provided. Ensuring doors, door-sets, and screens are scheduled in alignment with customer requirements whilst also ensuring that they comply with the latest fire and security certification. To accompany these schedules, you may need to produce CAD drawings for customer approval.

Documentation Management:

This includes, ensuring that all drawings and architect's schedules are the latest revisions, to capture any changes made since the quotation stage. Generating manufacturing paperwork from the in-house system for the procurement and production teams.

Collaborative Coordination:

Liaising with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of orders, providing information to the procurement team to ensure necessary materials are available in time to meet required delivery dates.

Customer Satisfaction:

Managing customers' needs from order receipt to delivery, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.

Skills Required:



To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

Order Management:

Ability to manage multiple orders, adhering to deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Software Proficiency:

Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) for efficient communication and task management. Knowledge of CAD systems would be an advantage.

Organisation:

Organisational skills to manage tasks effectively and prioritise responsibilities.

Autonomous Approach:

Capability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
Full training will be provided where required. Salary will depend upon skills and experience.
